You Get a Proposal

Scope, timeline, and price in writing. Nothing starts until you've read it and said yes.

Before You Ask

Questions I get a lot.

Work is structured as one of three engagements — Identity (brand system), Digital (brand and website together), or Partnership (ongoing monthly design capacity). You can see exactly what each one includes on the services page.

Each is quoted individually, because a one-page brand refresh and a twenty-page accessible website aren't the same job. After the discovery call you get a written proposal with the full scope, timeline, and a fixed price — no hourly billing, no scope-creep invoices, and nothing begins until you've approved it.

It depends on scope, and I'll give you a real date in the proposal rather than a guess here. What I can promise is the date won't move on my end — twenty years of federal deadlines that genuinely could not slip trains you out of that habit.

Both. I don't hand off a design file and wish you luck — I design it and code the working site, in WordPress, Drupal, or hand-written front-end. That means no gap between what you approved and what ships, because the same person did both.

Yes — that's the point. At launch I walk you through editing your own content, and you own every file. A site you have to pay someone to change isn't finished, it's a subscription.

It means the site works for people using screen readers, keyboard navigation, and high-contrast displays — tested, not assumed. I spent years building to Section 508 and WCAG standards for the State Department, where failing that review meant the work didn't ship. Your customers get the same standard.

No. The studio is in Gainesville, Virginia, and I'm glad to meet locally — but the work runs remotely just as well, and most of it does.

Still deciding? The 20-minute call is genuinely free and there's no obligation after it.
